Google Play Protect Arrives to Enhance the Security of Your Android

A few weeks ago, Google announced that they will soon launch Play Protect, a security technology for newer Android devices. Now available on Android devices, Google Play Protect is a new service that scans apps in the Play Store before you download them and ensures that the apps comply with the rules set by Google.

In addition, Play Protect monitors the apps running on your smart phone and uses machine learning to detect unexpected behavior, and if something unexpected happens, you will get a notification and close the app. Google itself says they scan over 50 billion apps every day. 

If you visit the Google Play Store, you can see Play Protect in the Updates tab for Apps and Games. Play Protect will scan periodically and you can also start a scan if needed. When everything is running normally, Play Protect displays information if no problems are found.

Note that the Play Protect service is launched to all Android devices, so if you have not yet found the service, you will need to wait for a while for Play Protect to run on your Android device.
